Everybody knows what a Seville, Deville or Eldorado is, but nobody knows what a DTS, CTS, STS, XLR, SRX, EXT or ESV are. CAN THE ALPHABET SOUP! That ain't Cadillac style! Cadillac should offer uncompromising world class luxury rear wheel drive cars to compete with Mercedes Benz and BMW.
ELDORADO would be a better moniker than XLR. Manufacture at Bowling Green KY alongside the Corvette with 4.6L DOHC V8 (320 hp) engine. Pronounced wheel wells might add a bit of splash to the model. Wish it were a bit bigger, and more in line with Mercedes Benz SL550. [20,000 units]
SEVILLE would be a better moniker than CTS. Manufacture at Hamtramck MI with 3.6L DOHC V8 (302 hp) engine. Pronounced wheel wells; some side panel lines like Toyota Camry, and more refined upscale grill and headlight treatment are in order here. Sure would be nice if there were both 6 speed manual and automatic transmissions available. [120,000 units]
DEVILLE would be a better moniker than STS. Manufacture at Hamtramck MI. A new face lift is all that is required here. [120,000 units]
ESCALADE is quite imposing, but needs a little more tweaking cosmetically to separate itself from Chevrolet trucks. I would much rather see the 4.6L Northstar in the Escalade instead of the (ugh) 6.2L OHV V8 (403 hp) truck engine. Oh well. Manufacture at Arlington TX alongside Chevrolet Tahoe. [30,000 units]
ESCALADE ESV has the kind of sumptuous room a girl can stretch out and roll around in. Manufacture at Arlington TX alongside Chevrolet Suburban.[10,000 units]
ESCALADE EXT is just ducky as is. Manufacture at Arlington TX alongside Chevrolet Avalanche. [20,000 units]
