GMC
Everything tends to work better horizontally. I know this for a fact. Therefore GM should adopt more of a horizontal approach for its multiplicity of brands rather than a verticle stance. This would eliminate tons of unnecessary and costly duplication of effort.
For this reason, GMC (as a light truck) should go the way of the Dodo bird. There is too much costly duplication of effort. GMC should drop all of its current models and give them all back to Chevrolet. No more redundant Chevy copies please! Notwithstanding, I believe it would advantageous for GMC to manufacture all Medium Duty and Heavy Duty Trucks for 'the General'.
